Search – July 29 & 30, 2014

Our team was deployed by the RCMP Corner Brook detachment in the evening of July 29th to search for a missing lady from Meadows, on the North Shore of the Bay of Islands. We searched extensively through the evening and into the early morning hours of July 30th, and resumed searching come daylight. With the assistance of air support, the subject was found alive and in good spirits.
We would like to acknowledge and thank the RCMP of Corner Brook, the Meadows Volunteer Fire Department, Don Bradshaw of NTV, and all of those people who joined our search and helped out during those two days.

Corner Brook Downtown Days

On July 12th a few of our members took part in the Corner Brook Downtown days. We enjoyed conversations with young and old and gave out lots of goodies to the young. We even found a one of our newest members! Thanks to the City of Corner Brook for inviting us!
